I love that you have found your way to my website! Welcome. I hope you enjoy the safe and comfortable shopping experience we strive to create for you.

I created Love and Sweat after beginning my own personal journey to gain better health. I needed to lose weight in order to get on top of small health issues, gain more energy to keep up with my two active little girls and just to feel better both emotionally and physically. I started exercising and very quickly realised the activewear market for plus sized ladies was virtually non-existent. I just could not find tops or pants I felt were cut correctly for my ample curves, or that were made from decent, good quality activewear fabrics! It was so frustrating exercising in oversized t-shirts and cheap leggings that were bulky, non-supportive and non-breathable. UGH! I had a lightning bolt moment after whinging to friends and family about wishing someone would just make decent plus size activewear, I thought ‘Hang on!! I’ll do it!!!’ And so I did! Woo hoo!!

It took 10 months to get my line to the public, from sketching up my designs, choosing fabrics I loved, to having them manufactured here in Brisbane. It has been a steep learning curve and I have enjoyed every single step of the way!

I really hope from the bottom of my heart that you also get the same enjoyment from my garments, and that it empowers you to become the very best woman you can be! Self improvement is hard work and a continuous battle, but at least now women of all sizes can look and feel fabulous doing it!
